What Would Happen If I Got A D In Ap Calculus My Senior Year In High School?
Posted on December 31st, 2009 by Dot
I just got a D in AP Calc, and im freaking out! Im planning on going to UCSC but the school specifically said that i need to have at least a C or higher in my senior year. Should i drop my class? Would the colleges still see my D if i drop the class?

Stumble it!

I think they mean C overall….. but a D or a withdraw looks bad either way you cut it….
Call the school. You need to talk to them. I’d suggest, if you aren’t comfortable with calling them and you don’t think you can bring the grade up, that you drop the course. If you have a D, chances are, you wouldn’t have done that well on the AP test anyway.
Talk to your guidance counselor, teachers, etc. about what your school district’s policies are. I am pretty sure that a drop is an F in your credit, but if you have to have a C that’s not really any different.
