Ucsc Or Cal Poly Pomona? Which Is Better?

would you go to UCSC for free even though it doesn’t have the major you want, or go to Cal Poly pomona paying a full cost and persue the major you want?

if you want to be an engineer major, def go to cal poly pomona..it probably has the best engin program in the state
Why go cheap and get into something that’s not your goal?
If UCSC has a major you want to pursue, then go for it, else go to Pomona.
I’m assuming you’re going to make a career from the degree you obtain.
knowing that both schools arent going to have a WOW effect ( relative to USC, UCLA, Stanford, and Berkley) on your resume when you get out of school when looked at by employers, I would focus on pursuing the major of your choice.
