I f setting four club swimming records wasn’t enough, Brandon Drogemuller earned a trip to Austin, Texas in December after qualifying for the Junior Nationals in the 1,000 freestyle. A member of the Monterey Bay Swim Club, Drogemuller, 17, rewrote the club record in the event, clocking 9:35.
