I wouldn’t. It feels quite chilly at that temp. because of the damp air off the ocean. We used to take our kids there all the time (to the beach boardwalk) and it’s a blast, but if I were you, I’d wear pants and bring a jacket, too. Have lots of fun. Wish I still lived in CA.
I live near Santa Cruz and it is pretty windy and cold there even though lately the sun has been out. If you plan on visiting then I guess 1 or 2 shorts would be fine, because even if its sunny it still going to be windy and most likely cold too.
If you’ve been living here and are use to the climate then yeah. But if you arent from around here, I wouldnt. If youre from a warmer climate you’d be better off wearing jeans.
It is if you want to catch pnemonia. And don’t even think about going swimming…the water is about 40 degrees about this time of year. But it’s beautiful to walk along the beach in a pair of pants and a jacket.
