Is it safe to swim at the beach in Santa Cruz, CA?
On Thursday, the high is going to be around 74-75 degrees, is it ok to swim at the beach with that temp, or will it be dangerously cold? My family is planning on going there to swim if its safe… Thank you!

Stumble it!

Being born and raised in Santa Cruz, and growing up surfing there, I would reccommend you wear a wet suit (or at least a rash guard). Being in the water for an extended period of time without a wet suit will cause you to be miserablely cold… but should not cause any serious health issues. You are just going to want to get out is all.
its pretty safe
just wear a rash guard or a wetsuit
i went swimming in water that was about 50 degrees, but i had a wetsuit. it wasnt too bad.
