Sears made a custom door for me when the height was four inches higher than a standard. Other places must do it to.

most building centers including lowes and home depot can custom order your door and/or door slab. you may want to consider going with a smaller door 30" with nominal 10" sidelites. If you replace the entire door unit you can remove the interior trim and get a true rough opening size. i have also framed openings smaller to make standard size doors work. you can use oversized or stacked trim mouldings to cover the gaps. good luck. you may also be able to find a door that is close at a salvage yard or recycling building materials center (habitat re-store?). you could trim to fit and cost would be lower.

If that's the measurement you want to get a 3 6 door meaning its 3foot 6 inches which will equal 42 inches the you can cut it down to fit.when you cut it cut from the non hinged side.be sure to cut it at 10 degrees you want the higher edge to be the swing in away this way it will fit into the jamb.any question let me know maybe I can help more.also you may want to borrow or rent a belt sander this will help fine tune your cuts
