Changing Colleges At Ucsc?

My friend and I are going to be freshmens next year at UCSC. We were really set on being roomates, but I got put into College Nine and she got put into College Ten. Is there any way we can still be roomates? Who can I contact to change my college?

On the bottom of the Housing Application page, after you are logged in of course, there is an option to “Appeal College Assignment”
That is the only way to change your college, and appeals are rarely granted.
If they change it for you, you’re very lucky. Colleges 9 and 10 are the most popular, it is DOUBTFUL that there will be available space…however, it definitely does not hurt to try.
Just my two cents…college is about meeting new people…be open to a brand new roommate, as rooming with high school friends usually doesn’t end well.
