Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz,CA
The Santa Cruz Beach-Boardwalk recently celebrated 100 years in operation. It has great modern rides along with the nostalgia of a wooden roller coast and a wonderful merry-go-round where you can catch rings to toss into the clown’s mouth.
You can buy cotton candy, ride in bumper cars and sit on a bench for great people watching. Or go down to the beach and lay out in the sun.
There is also a penny arcade with really old fashioned machines as well as all the latest arcade games. Teens like the dance machine. I like the old fashioned fortune teller machine.
Single or in a group you’ll enjoy the Santa Cruz Beachboard walk. When you get to town just head for the water…you’ll find paid parking next to the boardwalk.
