Are There Any Beaches In Santa Cruz, Ca That You Can Sleep On? Bonfires? Fireworks?

    There aren’t any that you can legally sleep on but New Brighton Beach has camp sites you can rent for a night. The one next to Rio Del Mar (I’m brain farting on its name) might have camp sites too, it’s got beds….I mean benches for sure though. If you don’t want to ‘rent’ a site just bring a tiny tent or sleeping bag and I’m sure you could blend in with the other campers with out drawing attention to yourself. The beach that’s allllll the way down Clubhouse dr in Aptos (I think it’s a private beach) may work for you too, just make sure you find a good place to hide for when the patrol people do their nightly check.
    Just remember, the beaches here usually close at 10 or 11 pm and they all get patrolled for at least 3 hrs after they “close”.
